and/ or emotional distress and increasing health and wellbeing for
the individual or couple.
Who
is it for?
Men or women who are or have been experiencing life difficulties
as a result of things such as low mood, irritability, depression,
anxiety, grief or relationship problems. Counselling will also be
of assistance to people who would like to address specific issues
within their lifestyle, such as emotional eating, stopping smoking
or any other unhealthy lifestyle behaviours.
What
does it involve?
An initial assessment session or two(depending on the complexity
of the issue)followed by a series of weekly or fortnightly appointments.
All appointments are 60 minutes long.
I am committed to working together with you to achieve positive

Postnatal
Depression Service
I offer a specialised counselling service to parents who are experiencing
emotional and/or practical difficulties in the months or years following
the birth of a child.
Clients
do not have to have ‘postnatal depression’ to benefit
from this service- it will be helpful for anyone who is finding
parenting their baby or child more difficult and/or less enjoyable
than they thought it would be. I have particular interest and skills
in working with and supporting parents during this complex and often
difficult life transition and I am committed to supporting women
and men on their journey becoming the parents they want to be.
What
does this counselling involve?
An initial assessment session or two, followed by a series of weekly
appointments of 60 minutes. I may ask clients to bring their baby
or child with them to appointments, and would also like to meet
their main support person (i.e. partner or friend) at some time
within the counselling service.

Life
Assessment
What is it?
A structured assessment process that supports clients in a holistic
evaluation of their current life situation.
Who is it for?
Men or women who are dissatisfied or unhappy with their life, but
are not exactly sure why or what to do about it. If you are not
sure if you need a psychologist, a psychiatrist or just a good holiday
this unique service will suit you!
What does it
involve?
3-4 sessions of 60 minutes duration. Sessions involve filling in
some questionnaires and answering some questions. At the end of
these intense sessions clients can expect to have greater clarity
and understanding about their current life situation and a series
of recommendations and personal goals for the future.
